Amanda's birthday - I'm gonna go get a drink!

"Today's your birthday, isn't it, Amanda?"

"I wonder what kind of cake your mother will make for you," Tefia continued.

"I asked for a strawberry one and I saw mommy head for the strawberry bush on balcony," Amanda told her.

"Sounds awesome!"
"Yeah."

Albert listened to Amanda's exited chatter about her birthday party expectations and reassured her, that yes, all the invitations had been sent early, and some of the cousins had even let them know they were coming. "That's awesome! I'll hold you to that!"

Amanda contemplated the invisible candles on the birthday cake, wondering if it would affect her wish.

But bravely she got ready to blow them out, as cousin Elina Bjergsen sang the birthday song to her. Surprisingly, nothing drastic happened, and the party continued with a happy tone and the cake was good.

The day after the party, Amanda headed out with Albert's basketball club and the group headed to the night club in Oasis Springs. Amanda eat a bit of snack as she chatted with one of her brother's friends she had had a bit of a crush on.

The group soon gravitated to the bar, to have a try some juice.

They chatted some, as cousin Anna de Leon joined in, and even exchanged some words with the Grim Reaper, who sometimes popped by as he had been doing since their great uncle Sigismund had befriended him.

Tabitha - who had dropped by - thought it was a great time for bit of live practice. The crowd wasn't all that big, but hey, at least no-one was booing, so there's that.

Albert chatted with Asako, who had joined the gathering a bit late, as Amanda had a sudden urge to do her homework.

Tefia listened to her mom reading to her before bedtime. "I like this story, mom."

Albert worked on a school project, before heading to bed.
